Not cute little jingles but rather the words you want to say to and about a specific person or event.
Rather than my trying to describe it, please see some examples by clicking on the links at the left. These are written about specific people and, thus, will sometimes have references that may not mean anything to you, but will to the person for whom the poem is written. Still, I believe you will "get" the poem and I hope that you will feel the essential character of each individual.
For example, we went on the trip with Dusty and he very much wanted to rent a scooter. That was not in the cards and we began to tease him that he was pouting. The poem doesn't reference the incident - only a reference to scooters that we know made him smile, and reminded him of our wonderful trip. Read Dusty's poem.
When you are ready, I will ask you about the person and about your experiences and what you want to say - then I will weave your words into something wonderful.
Or just let me tell your story.
